About the Client and the Project

Alstom is a French multinational group specializing in railway transport systems. Alstom uses a matrix organizational structure to coordinate its global activities. With over 75,000 employees spread across more than 60 countries, Alstom is a major player in the railway industry, specializing in high-speed trains, regional trains, trams, and global mobility solutions.

The GO Expansion project, formerly known as the GO Regional Express Rail (RER), is a project aimed at improving the GO Transit train service by adding bidirectional service throughout the day to the inner sections of the Barrie, Kitchener, and Stouffville lines, while increasing the frequency of trains on various lines. The project includes the electrification of at least part of the lines, as well as expanding the use of diesel trains in other sections.

Lead Planner for the Fleet Modernization Project.

• Creation of the project schedule in MS Project.

• Regular updates and tracking of the schedule.

• Creation, tracking, and maintenance of the internal and external deliverables list (DML).

• Weekly presentation of KPIs and key project information.

• Collaboration and coordination with the planning team for the integration of our schedule into the master schedule.
